Delivery

Rutland Pumps Limited offers free courier delivery on all orders over £75.00 nett. with a small order postal charge of £5.34 nett. for orders under this amount for which we use either the DPD service or the Royal Mail 24hr Tracked Service which allows us to track items to your door. Orders under £75.00 nett. for fluids, oversized and heavy items which cannot be sent by Royal Mail are sent by Courier Service and subject to a £9.95 nett. delivery charge. There is an optional Express Delivery available at checkout for orders below £75.00 nett.

Please be aware that this offer is available to MAINLAND UK ONLY and excludes some Scottish postcodes for fluids, oversized and heavy items.

We aim to process and despatch your order the same working day providing your order is placed before 12.00 noon except where the items is special order or not currently in stock. Once received, the NEXT DAY mainland courier service (2 days for some Scottish postcodes) assures delivery of your parcel by 8pm following working day. Shipping to Northern Ireland, the islands and some Scottish postcodes is 1-2 days. Rutland Pumps Limited cannot guarantee this service and does not accept responsibility for late delivery due to courier delay. Neither does Rutland Pumps Limited accept any subsequent loss or liability for delivery delays.

We Can Ship Worldwide! Any orders placed outside of mainland UK will be contacted with a delivery price (dependent on weight, size, etc) before order is dispatched. Orders under 1kg can be sent by Royal Mail, items over 1kg are sent by our courier service with package tracking.

Please specify any delivery requirements or instructions in your customer notes at checkout or with our sales team. Please inform us immediately if your order is delayed for more than 3 days. A delay of over 15 days is considered a lost item. 

If a mobile number and email address is provided with your order a text message and tracking email will be sent to allow you to interact with your delivery.

During periods leading up to holidays please add an additional day to all the above estimates.

N.B. We do not guarantee any service, but will endeavour to meet these service standards.

Damaged Items

CUSTOMERS are responsible for checking consignments for damage or missing parts, PRIOR to SIGNING FOR and ACCEPTING and the parcel from the courier. We URGE all customers to check EVERY delivery for damage as we cannot claim for damage or loss on any parcel signed for as being in "Good Condition": by signing in this manner you herby INDEMNIFY Rutland Pumps Limited against any claim for loss or damage. 

Any omissions or errors on an order must be reported within 7 days of receipt to Rutland Pumps Limited.

In the unlikely event that items are damaged in transit please inform us immediately. This will ensure that any claims against the courier can be processed promptly and a replacement item sent.

Rutland Pumps Limited cannot guarantee that any damage to an item reported after 7 days will result in a successful claim and may mean that a replacement cannot be offered. 

Goods that are missing or damaged must be signed for as 'damaged' or 'incomplete'. Rutland Pumps Limited cannot guarantee that if a parcel has been signed for and is later found to be faulty or incomplete that it can then be rectified or claimed for. Please check all orders immediately and only sign for your order if it is correct.

Rutland Pumps Limited cannot accept liability for goods delivered to third party addresses or goods left in unsecured locations. All goods should be signed for accordingly and Rutland Pumps Limited will deliver to nominated secure addresses according to the customer’s instructions.

Faulty Items

Any faulty goods must be returned to Rutland Pumps Limited* within 14 days before we send out a replacement.  A tracked delivery method is advised and proof of delivery and of cost of delivery to Rutland Pumps Limited must be provided; once the item is received by us and evaluated for faults a credit will be given to the customer for the value of the cost of delivery.  The replacement item, if in stock, will then be sent out at Rutland Pumps Limited's expense on a next day service (restrictions to non UK mainland and some Scottish postcodes as detailed above apply).

If it is urgent that a replacement is sent quickly a payment for the replacement item will be taken until the faulty item is received. The payment will then be refunded assuming that the item is faulty.

Rutland Pumps Limited cannot accept any liability for any consequential loss incurred by customers due to faulty goods supplied.  Rutland Pumps Limited will undertake to replace any goods in the shortest time period possible, or supply equivalent quality goods accordingly.

Unwanted Items

Any unwanted goods returned to Rutland Pumps Limited* within 7 working days will receive a 100% refund if, upon inspection, they are unused and in a resalable condition.

Items returned after 7 working days will be accepted at Rutland Pumps Limited's discretion for which a restocking charge of 20% will be applied. All carriage related to unwanted goods will be charged to the customer.
