Our BDS PRO Boiler and Hotbox De-Scaler

​Crucial to the regular maintenance of any boiler system should be de-scaling the coil. Boilers suffering with limescale build up can be slow to cut back in as temperature drops in the system as the scale prevents the thermostat from sensing the temp drop. In extreme circumstances the scale can block the coil completely damaging pressure and flow switches as time goes on. 

With a raw strength of 85% adding 1L of BDS Pro to 25L of water will give a diluted strength of 3%. 

​Simply pump the solution into the coil and allow to sit for up to 3 hours, flush the solution through the system every 30 minutes. Once the process is complete dispose of the solution in line with your local environmental agencies guidelines and flush with clean water for 15 minutes.
