Roof Cleaning Quick Tips

• Slate Roofs: Use nylon moss scrapers on both natural and man-made slate to avoid damage.

• Concrete Tiles: Steel moss scrapers are suitable for standard concrete tiles.

• Coated Concrete Tiles: Proceed with caution—conduct a small test scrape using a nylon scraper first to ensure the coating isn’t compromised.

• Clay Tiles: Pre-wet the roof if using a steel scraper. This provides lubrication and helps protect the more delicate clay surface. Scrape gently and with care.
